A healthy movement practice inspired by chair yoga 🪑

What is chair yoga?
It's yoga done seated in a chair. I lead you thorough a gentle, chair-based movement routine you can do seated — no mat, no floor, no experience needed. I bring weekly chair yoga classes to senior residences, churches, community centers, and workplaces across East Texas.

how it works
I come wherever your group meets. No need to travel to a studio; I'll travel to you, keeping the whole process simple and convenient for your group. I've worked with the Glass Recreation Center (City of Tyler) and UT Tyler in this way. My service areas include Tyler and surrounding areas.
Bring this to your group
For senior residences, churches, community organizations, and workplaces: a weekly 45–60 minute chair-based session, led live, with everyone participating right from a chair.I plan it, I lead it, and I bring all the materials. No equipment, no room setup, nothing for your staff to prepare. Most groups start with a 4-week pilot — enough time to see how your people respond before committing to anything ongoing.References available from current programs with the City of Tyler and UT Tyler.

take the weekly movement challenge
Here's the challenge: I'll send you a different set of chair yoga poses each week. Pick at least 3 poses and try doing them every day for at least 10 minutes. The goal is to hit 7 days of movement. Do you accept the challenge?

sign up for the weekly challenge
Along with the weekly movement challenge, I'll also send you helpful tools and tips on creating a daily healthy movement habit. There will even be opportunities meet up in-person or virtually!
